EDINA INNOVATION LAB, NoV 2023
The Edina Innovation Lab has borrowed four pieces for permanent display in their brand new offices:
Golem, Suleiman Rising, Tablula Rasa, and Impenetrable.
HOMEWOOD Studios, AUg 2023
In August 2023 I had a solo exhibition at Homewood Studios in Minneapolis featuring almost 70 pieces. It was extremely satisfying to see this body of work displayed together. I called the exhibition Future/Memory. There are future versions of ourselves—and future cultures—for which this current moment is already a distant memory. Imagining that future is a kind of reverse nostalgia—wondering what will remain of us and our world after everything has been ground up into particles, wisps of smoke, synapses firing in a robot’s brain. All of the pieces in Future/Memory were created to evoke these distant memories or provide a glimpse into that remote future—some pieces do a little of both.
