Impenetrable

I can’t say that piece is literally a tribute to George Floyd, but I was made it during the week of strife and frustration that followed his death. When that kind of darkness visits our planet, it’s hard to believe that we’ll ever get beyond the barriers—within our cultures, within our societies, and within ourselves—that keep us from living according to the good natures we were born with. Nonetheless, I am an optimist, and close inspection of Impenetrable reveals gaps and cracks through which we can see light.
